Witchcraft

"Witchcraft is not a religion. It is a craft, a practice. It can be enjoyed by everyone regardless of their religion or lack thereof."

It's just one of those other misconceptions out there. That once upon a time there was this old witchcraft religion. This tale had been published by a woman named Margret Murray in one of Gardner's books and people have run with it ever since. Not ever thinking that it had been debunked.

There was no witchcraft religion because witchcraft is a craft. It's a practice. It's something you do.

So really..witchcraft doesn't know any religion because it's not bound to a religion and it can mesh with any religion (if you put your mind to it. You can make it work.) or without a religion.
